If there is one brand that is synonymous with Easter it is Peeps, as in the marshmallow treats. Did you know that over 5.5 million Peeps are made for Easter each year?!? Take a look …

Yes, Peeps is one of the “most iconic seasonal treats” for sure, and we’ve seen many a brand collaboration through the years, such as this one with Pepsi from two years ago:

This Easter holiday season brings us another brand mashup, but for a different member of the family … the dog. Yes indeed, Peeps is partnering with Milk-Bone to bring a limited-edition Peeps-flavored crunchy treat for our favorite pup.

It’s quite smart because many if not most Easter treats are not dog friendly, so now you can safely include the fur kids in the holiday fun. And I’ve gotta say that the Easter-style tub packaging is spot on as well. Many folks will pack it all in for their dogs, we know that.

Very smart collaboration as I’m betting this will open up many dog owners with a reason to come back into the Milk-Bone franchise and I’m also betting that many humans will also throw some of the traditional family Peeps treats for the other kids into their “carts” while shopping as well. Easter fun for the whole family.
