Lessons Learned from JCPenney

I have a particularly affinity for the JCPenney brand, mostly because it was my very first job in high school and then all throughout college.  I learned a TON there, and it helped me pay my way through school expenses.  I will always have a sweet spot for the company and the brand.

Now enter the developments of late, making for a roller coaster of a story in brand marketing.

I wrote a piece about it for Entrepreneur that I'd like to share here ... the lessons we can learn from the past 12 months of the JCP.  Marketing is, after all, a spectator sport.

You can read it here.

What's your experience?  Jim.
