An "ET" Reunion for Xfinity

Everyone was a buzz over the American Thanksgiving holiday weekend about this new “commercial” from Xfinity featuring a reunion between the beloved “ET” and Elliott from the classic movie “ET.” It’s pretty epic:

I’d call it more of a short film, but it does highlight the changes in technology since the original set of the movie, presumably with Xfinity at the core. On a personal level, it also shows how many of us have grown since then with our own families. It’s been 37 years! Wow!

It’s a good and bold move for a brand that certainly has to, shall we say, try a bit harder to get noticed in the noise, hype, and dominance of this particular category. Well done.
