Tide Cleaners
In my class at NYU, we do an exercise where we brainstorm new business ideas that brands can pursue based on their brand equity. And every time, without fail, someone mentions that Tide should open up laundromats.
Laundromats!
And guess what Tide just recently announced - they plan to open up around 2,000 “full service laundry solutions” locations by 2020
By 2020!
The brand says it’s less about buying the laundry service and actually buying something much more precise - time!
So Tide’s brand equity is giving back time. Not bad.
