Two days in a row for Nike, fresh off the Emmy win

A couple of weeks ago, Nike released a new campaign targeted to young girls called “You’re It.” While it feels decidedly different than typical Nike content, it’s still definitively Nike. Empowering. Daring. Conquering. Take a look:

Here’s the same kind of messaging targeted to adult women, just perhaps with a different energy:

To my eye, it’s the same Nike brand and Nike narrative but to two different target audiences.

Makes me wonder if the ‘it” in “You’re It” is the same “it” in “Just Do It!” Love the “pass along” messaging as well as in “Tag, You’re It!”
