Pantone Color of the Year 2021

Every year, right around this time, Pantone announces the “Color of the Year” that best represents not only trends in color but also prevailing popular sentiment.

For 2021, presumably after the year we’ve had in 2020, Pantone is announcing not one color but two. Two complimentary colors that are best expressed together. The colors? Ultimate Gray and Illuminating.

Essentially a soothing and calm gray with a bright and energizing yellow. Gray and Yellow. Yellow and Gray.

Gray and Yellow. Resilience and Hope. Encouraged and Uplifted. “Essential to the human spirit.”
