Taking a Break from COVID-19 for Some Fun Brand Introductions
I’m taking a break here from talk about COVID-19 to look at two recent new product introductions that just simply make me smile.
In my class at NYU (which has gone to remote learning), we spend a bit of time talking about how brands can expand their product line and where they have permission to introduce new items.
Today I want to highlight two new cool ones.
First, pictured above, is the new line of Crocs Platforms. I mean who knew that we need these!
And then right up there with these new shoes is the new Dunkin’ Snackin’ Bacon. Yum. Bacon served like french fries!
Yet another must-have! I’m staying at home right now, but the minute I go out then I’m going to Dunkin’.
Which is exactly the point … these kinds of new product introductions give brands a chance to reconnect with a lost audience, reinvigorate their current audience, or attract a new audience all together. The more insightful and creative, the better. As long as its on brand strategy, which in these two cases is the case.
