CNN and Sesame Street Town Halls

This just makes me feel better in an indescribable way: CNN and Sesame Street joined forces over the past weekend to hold a Town Hall on racism. Obviously geared toward young children and their parents. The title was “Standing Up to Racism.” I’m betting more than just children and their parents could benefit.

“Talent” from both “brands” presented the content via video conferencing, something we’ve all gotten quite used to very quickly. This wasn’t the teams’ first Town Hall. On May 30th the two also joined up for a Town Hall on Covid-19 called “The ABC’s of Covid-19.”

So brilliant to pair a news organization with an educational/entertainment property to help people to understand and act. Especially with the next generation who could really help us all to change.
