Panda Express Celebrates Lunar New Year

Happy Chinese New Year …

As the world celebrates Lunar New Year … Chinese New Year that sparks a new Lunar New Year … we are seeing some brands join in the celebration. And we are smiling!

Here’s a moving video from the QSR(quick serve restaurant) brand Panda Express. I love the mix of cultures, acceptance, inclusion, belonging, and tradition. And growing up, growing together.

I also learned something new about a particular Lunar New Year tradition … red pockets. Small red envelopes filled with “lucky money” for children. So cool. And likely linked to the red take out containers from the brand too! Smart.

This just brings a big smile to my face, in a year when we could all use an additional smile or two.
