"For When It's Time" from Extra Gum
Well it’s all about to start … post pandemic messaging from brands talking about getting back to life. This one from Extra Gum is one of the first to my eye but I am sure it’ll be the first of many.
Set to the Celine Dion classic “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” this short film is titled “For When It’s Time,”
While this isn’t the first, we have not seen a lot of humor yet during/about the pandemic. Not sure it’s been appropriate until now. Maybe not even now. Maybe not quite yet. But I suppose now that there’s an indication that things will open up, it’s ok to have a sense of humor about it. Or at least that is what Extra Gum is betting on. Perhaps humor makes it easier to start to transition.
Let’s keep an eye on this space as other brands recognize/motivate/celebrate our re-opening. Let’s see how they handle their own messaging/programming. How will they help the transition?
