P&G Brings Back The Olympics

The CDC just announced that we don’t have to wear masks anymore if we are vaccinated. If. And P&G just launched a new series of videos in salute of the Olympics. Two seemingly unrelated things but also two signals that perhaps the world coming back?

While the CDC might be signaling that life is coming back, P&G is signaling that our culture is coming back too. The Olympics seem like such a luxury at this point, but truly the event is a symbol of our humanity and a symbol of human conquest. So I am joining the two things together in human conquest over adversity.

Which is why I sparked to the athlete profiles that P&G has chosen to release in its first foray into Olympic life post pandemic. Sure the brand also launched the typical anthemic video but that seems trite at this point. Not featuring that. But what I do want to feature is seeing the athlete conquer …

So inspiring. So life affirming. So relatable. Just what we need right now! Thank you P&G for bringing back the Olympics and the stories that come from it
