GAP x Yeezy Hits

We are starting to get glimpse’s into Kanye’s new collaboration with GAP that’s coming out in the fall. Yesterday a new winter jacket hit for pre-order, and crashed the site. Guess it was a hit! As someone who never zips up my coats, I love that there is no zipper!

Note that a $200 price point is a lift for GAP. The logo is clever, have to say … great play on logo brand equity …

In true marketing form, the brands (as in Yeezy and GAP) are doing a great job keeping this topical and building momentum. Should make for a successful launch when the products do come out, particularly for fans of both brands. Perhaps building a bigger base for both brands? Certainly for GAP I would think.
