"I Believe in Love" #MusicMonday

There is a long-storied narrative that goes along with the release of a soon to be remastered and reissued album from Donna Summer, recorded but never released from the early 1980’s.

The album (“I’m a Rainbow”) comes out in the Fall, but the estate released a first single called “I Believe in You,” where Donna sings with the same duet partner as in her famous “Heaven Knows” top ten hit from late 1970’s.

It’s refreshingly upbeat and optimistic, which I just love.

“I believe in you
If you believe in me
And I believe that faith and hope and love brings harmony”

I’m admittedly a mega-fan, so it’ll be no surprise that I’ve been playing this tune from the minute it came out.
