Lay's Golden Grounds Potato Chips

Here’s a clever one …. limited edition potato chips made from potatoes grown in soil from NFL stadiums. Soil from the specific stadium mixed with farm soil. The brand is calling the chips “Golden Grounds.”

“The greatest chips in football history.”

For serious fans only. To score a bag, participants have to follow the brand on Twitter and respond to tweets with #LaysGoldenGrounds.

This is a great way to break through the clutter of the NFL playoff season and ultimately the Super Bowl. Very crowded and very noisy but this promo from Lay’s is so different that I think it’ll resonate. And the brand was able to get in a little “farm” messaging to reinforce the quality of the chips. Smart.
