"These Hands" from P&G

Not sure how I missed this incredible video that P&G released about a year ago as part of its “Widen the Screen” program aimed at reducing the systemic bias that gets in the way of people’s lives. In their words:

This film is a collaboration between P&G and UNINTERRUPTED, an athlete empowerment brand on a mission to empower greatness in every individual. These Hands and the associated community impact programs are a commitment to Black boys––a promise create broader opportunities and remove the systemic barriers along the path.

So inspiring. The promise of a bright future with the ability to dream big and fulfill those dreams should belong to everyone. We have to work hard to eliminate the barriers that so many people face. P&G consistently works hard to do just that and for that I say thank you.

This film allows young black boys to see themselves and to see their future full of possibilities. That’s huge. Now paving their way to make that happen is where the hard work begins. Brands and companies like P&G can and do the hard work.
