I had the honor of attending the GLAAD Media Awards this past weekend in New York City. Per Wikipedia:

The 34th GLAAD Media Awards is the 2023 annual presentation of the GLAAD Media Awards by GLAAD honoring 2022 films, television shows, video games, musicians and works of journalism that fairly, accurately and inclusively represent the LGBT community and issues relevant to the community.

Idina Menzel was a featured performer, singing both her new single as well as a classic song from the show Wicked that she debuted in 2003. It’s one of her signature songs from the show, and in many ways it made her career. Here is Idina singing it live at another moment:

The GLAAD Media Awards were so inspiring. Seeing us all come together to address some of the toughest issues of the day. Issues that only we can conquer and only when we come together. Thank you for that.
