"Could It Be Magic" #MusicMonday

I recently discovered another cover of one of my favorite songs “Could It Be Magic.” It’s performed by the British group Take That from 1992, and the only reason I uncovered it is because their name came onto my radar because they performed at the Coronation Concert yesterday.

So today I celebrate “Could It Be Magic” by Take That for #MusicMonday.

The original was from Barry Manilow in 1971, which he admits really didn’t go anywhere.

In his concerts, Barry goes on to explain that after he released the song, someone else came along and made a dance hit from it and it skyrocketed. That of course, was Donna Summer in 1976.

Clearly my favorite version. Well, that is until Barry and Donna performed it as a duet for one of his concerts …

Now there you go.

Yesterday my daughter publicly announced that she is going to have her first child with her husband, making me a first-time grandfather. Could it be magic?

What’s your experience? JIM
