I feel like I’ve been writing a lot lately about brands introducing a new line of home furnishings and accessories. Maybe it’s because I’m obsessed by watching a brand transfer its equity from its core product line to something new, while maintaining said brand equity, essence, personality, and promise.
Like Banana Republic Home. Like Soho House Home. And now here’s another … Tommy Bahama Home.
This home line is such an amazing extension of the Tommy Bahama retail experience and restaurant experience and even the new resort experience in the Coachella Valley.
Consistent extensions of the brand each and every time … and now you can bring it home which is the ultimate in brand engagement.
Smart extensions are so fascinating to watch. As I always say, “marketing is a spectator sport.”
