Nuna UK x BMW

On one of my morning walks in New York City, I passed by a pop-up store on the corner of 57th and Broadway that sits within the Nordstrom department store, featuring the baby brand Nuna from the UK. I probably would not have normally noticed it, given that I’m not in the market (ha!), but I couldn’t help but see and be impressed by the photography of diverse families. So much so that when I got home, I looked up the brand because honestly I had never heard of it. And I got quite the surprise!

Turns out the brand is a premium “baby gear” (my words”) line of strollers, bags, chairs, and I’m sure other items. And they are in the midst of what looks to me to be an incredible collaboration with BMW for the “ultimate baby ride” or as the two brands call it, “Nuna by design. BMW by nature.”

I just love the meshing of brand equities, the merging of brand designs, the overlapping of audiences, and of course the plus ups that come from bringing two brands together in collaboration. One plus one equals far more than two in this case!

I’m betting that this collab is also opening up awareness to many people who may also never have heard of Nuna before, but now are getting their initial interest touched by the messaging and imagery.

Well done!
