Super Bowl 2025 - Making History with the Logo!

A Super Bowl First…

I’m not sure I’ve ever noticed a Super Bowl logo before until this year, but this year’s logo really caught my eye. So much so that I actually looked up how it was designed. Correction … I looked up who designed it. Wow, was I in for a surprise!

Turns out that it’s actually the first Super Bowl logo to be created by an artist and in this case a local New Orleans artist (home of this year’s big game) … Tahj Williams who is a Queen of the Golden Eagles Mardi Gras Indians from New Orleans and who is known for hand-beaded artwork in the Black Masking culture.

Hence the intricacies of the Super Bowl logo that she designed. To my eye, and hence why it caught my eye, the most beautiful Super Bowl logo ever. Tahj was able to capture so much in one logo!
