Nike for Everyday Heroes

Nike just came out with a very cool new product line. No, not a big drop from a big personality but something much more, shall we say, every day.

Nike Air Zoom Plus. A new line of footwear designed for those in the healthcare profession. Doctors, Nurses, etc. For people that Nike calls “everyday heroes.”

Let’s face it: these folks are on their feet all day every day. They are taking care of everyone else, on their feet all day every day. So they need a pair of “sneakers” that takes care of them while they are taking care of everyone else.

It’s interesting and inspiring to see Nike expand not its collection but its brand and brand meaning. Who knew that Nike could become a healthcare company? Perhaps any company can promote health and wellness if they try hard enough!
