Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary

If this doesn’t make some of us feel old, then I don’t know what does: the television show (and dare I say brand) Sesame Street turns fifty years old this year. 50!

To commemorate, the US Postal Service launched a special edition “Forever” stamp featuring the Sesame Street characters. Pretty much all of them.

I mean, what’s not to love!? And I love this even more: Sesame Street also launched a new show to help educate Syrian refugee children…using the power of those characters to comfort and heal. The show is in partnership with Rescue.org, and it’s pretty incredible.

Absolutely beyond amazing. Showing the relevance of this particular 50-year-old! Actually, showing that it’s more relevant than ever. Bravo!
