Popeye's Chicken is Back ... on Sunday

The fast food chicken wars have reached legendary status…perhaps surpassing the cola or pizza wars. And evidently, Popeyes is back in the game. To stay.

This past Sunday (yes on Sunday), Popeyes brought back its ever-so-popular chicken sandwich that it introduced over the summer but quickly ran out of. It was short-lived at the time because the brand’s supply couldn’t keep up with demand. Clever?

But now it’s back, on Sunday which is the day that the other chicken sandwich brand is closed. Clever!

Purposeful? Purposeful!

PS - We’ve since seen some violence and drama at the store level, which is never acceptable no matter how much hype the marketing has created. I hope all parties involved are ok.
