Doritos "Anti-Ad"
This campaign ran several weeks ago and I just never got a chance to comment on it. But it continues to create buzz, so now I figure it’s never too late to explore it!
Dubbed the “anti-ad", the campaign is from Doritos but you wouldn’t know it based on the logo. Or would you? There’s no explicit branding, which is the point. The Doritos brand is so strong that it needs no logo. The branding elements speak for themselves and identify the brand without ever naming it.
“No logo, but our name is on the tip of your tongue.” Indeed…
This truly is the sign of great branding…a campaign with no logo. Brilliant.
