Jeep Ad in Peru
I just love this “ad” from Jeep in Peru. A student in my NYU class sent it to me as part of our weekly review of marketing activity.
What do I love about it?
First of all, I love that it took me a bit to figure it out. Which normally wouldn’t make sense but in this case I think it’s ok. Jeep lovers will take the time to figure it out, and this is clearly a message meant for current Jeep owners.
But once you figure it out, it brings a smile to your face, whether a Jeep owner or not. It’s shot from the perspective of the Jeep, staying at “home” in its garage. Clever.
And the message is clear, which is always something to love. Here it is in English:

Love the simplicity of messaging with the complexity of imagery. Makes for a great experience.
