Cariuma Kicks

My (adult) son told me that I have to kick up my game in footwear … and add some kicks into my wardrobe. Evidently it isn’t so cool to wear dress shoes and loafers to the office anymore. Sneakers! Especially when we aren’t even going into the office these days!

I discovered this cool brand out of Brazil called Cariuma. It popped up on my social feed and it caught my attention because of the partnership with Pantone, as in the color system. I guess my social feed knew me well: my love for Brazil (HI Friends!) and also my career in marketing (use of colors in creative). So I clicked and purchased pronto.

The entire experience (ala my book “The Experience Effect”) was flawless. Including the packaging, the welcome note, and the spot-on message to make me feel great about the entire deal:

“Good-Looking. Crazy Comfy. Consciously Made”

(ala my book “The Conscious Marketer”).

Does it get any better than that? YES … the Pantone color is this year’s color of the year. Classic Blue. Meant to be soothing for a challenging time.

Brought me a smile as I try to kick it up a notch with these kicks.
