In my new book, “The Conscious Marketer,” I talk about what it takes to put consciousness into your brand’s marketing. I talk about how being conscious isn’t necessarily about having purpose and it’s not necessarily about taking a stand on an issue. It can merely be about paying attention to what’s going on in the world and adjusting your marketing activity as a result.

This new spot from M&Ms, set to appear in the 2021 Super Bowl, is just that: conscious. No greater purpose here. No political issue to weigh in on. Just being acutely aware of the world we are living in … and poking fun at it.

I particularly like Karen :).
