"You're Still You" #MusicMonday

My daughter got married a week ago and I’m still in withdrawal. What a life moment! My husband and I were so caught up in the planning that it didn’t hit me until we were literally walking down the aisle! What a life moment!

For the Father of the Bride #FOB dance, we spent quite a bit of time selecting the song. We narrowed it down to three, and then let my daughter pick the one. I was hoping she would pick “You’re Still You” by Josh Groban and she did! Thrilled!

When I first saw/heard this song on the television show Ally McBeal, I immediately thought of my daughter. It’s been one of my favorites ever since.

The band at the wedding nailed it … nailed it. Thankfully. It’s been flowing in my head ever since. And I hope it always does.
