Free Suits for Interviews from H&M Man

When I first heard about this program from H&M Man (the brand’s mens line), I was like “WOW what a great idea!” Giving guys a free suit to wear for a job interview is such a great idea since the first impression is so important when applying for a new job. That first second in the moment can change the whole dynamic in an interview. There are many folks for whom they wouldn’t even know where to start to prepare. Enter H&M Man.

“Show them what you are made of.” Indeed.

Such a great idea. And really changed my impression of the H&M brand. But then … OMG … I saw the video that is a part of the campaign …

Mom giving a pep talk to her boy! Wow! I literally shed a tear!

“Walk tall.”

Now I really have a different impression of the H&M brand. H&M Man especially. Isn’t that what marketing is all about. Standing for something and giving back?!? Can’t even say how much I love it.
