The “hard seltzer” wars continue to get more and more interesting as brands leverage their equity to enter the canned spirits category. We’ve seen seltzer water after seltzer water join the game, carving out pieces of the growing business.

And now we are seeing sodas too. Leveraging not only their brand equity but also their flavor profile.

Enter Hard Mountain Dew. Not the first soda to join in the fun, but perhaps one with the most legacy. Mountain Dew was actually created to be a mixer by two beverage bottlers from Tennessee. So with the introduction of Hard Mountain Dew, perhaps the brand is merely coming full circle?

And btw, the packaging is gorgeous!!!!
