DIRECTV and Succession
If you are as obsessed with the TV show “Succession” as I am, then you are going to love this campaign from DIRECTV featuring one of the main characters from the show, Logan Roy. To say that Logan, as patriarch of the family, is direct is the understatement of the year. Hence the hook for his as spokesperson for the entertainment property. An overtly direct spokesperson.
To me this is a score. In the moment pop culture. Creative hook. Entertaining, as is the brand. Engaging for fans and perhaps a way to attract new users who are fans but aren’t yet subscribers.
