Diana Ross for Saint Laurent #MusicMonday

We seem to be in a pattern where we are defying perceptions of age in our culture, and I’m all about it. The latest is Diana Ross as the featured front of a new fashion campaign for Saint Laurent. She’s going to be 80 years old this year, and she is as stunning and influential as ever. Her singing and acting talents now morphing into fashion modeling well into her career. Of course she has always been a fashion icon and her film “Mahogany” in the 1070’s made her a fashion force. She influenced many a walkway back in the day. And now she’s back! Way to go!

As quoted, “Saint Laurent is my house and I live here.” Indeed.

When Saint Laurent announced the Diana Ross news, the fashion world lit up that’s for sure. Big news!

I remember seeing Ms.Ross in concert when I was a kid … she was and is a mesmerizing performer for sure. This song was one of my favorites from the show:

Congrats Diana on decades of influence and for bringing us such joy through the years whether on record, stage, big screen, little screen, and now runway. Thank you.
