Kate Winslet "The Most Amazing Interview Ever"

About a year ago, actress Kate Winslet was on a press tour for the new movie “Avatar,” and one of her stops was with a young interviewer from Germany. It was this young woman’s first interview ever, and can you imagine it’s with a global super star?!?

The video is such of source of inspiration for me because it’s a conscious note of confidence, manifestation, and mentorship. I have it on repeat, so I thought I’d share it today as a way to motivate all of you to have an amazing day.

First of all, the vote of confidence is amazing. When someone gives you a vote of confidence then how can you go wrong?

“You got this!”

Secondly, the whole notion of manifestation is front and center here. When you wish it then it happens. When you visualize it then it comes true. When you decide to be a success then you are a success.

“Because we’ve decided it’s going to be amazing.”

And lastly, and perhaps most importantly from my perspective, Kate was exhibiting the ultimate in mentorship. Giving back. Supporting those coming up the ranks. Providing guidance and a welcoming environment. That’s being a mentor, for that young journalist and for anyone watching the video after. Which is why I am posting it now, again, one year later because it is still a source of inspiration for me. A reminder to me to also do the same, every day, for those I work with.
