Carol Burnett on the Cover of Harper's BAZAAR

“I want to have fun.”

This month, Carol Burnett at 90 years old (almost 91) is on the cover of Harper’s BAZAAR Magazine. She’s having a bit of a surge right now (I would never call it a come back because she never left) so it’s all so appropriate for her to be the cover story. At any age. 

She’s up for an Emmy award and is starring in a new comedy series. She’s evidently not following the rule of retirement, and doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon.

When asked why, she replies “I want to have fun.” Love it. And given all the fun she’s given us through the years, I say keep on keeping on. It’s inspiring me to make work fun too (which BTW it is).
