Hilton for the Stay with Paris Hilton on TikTok
Hilton Hotels is running a very cool campaign on TikTok which features a ten minute video filled with TikTok creators talking about doing a Hilton ad on TikTok. It’s a bit of a spoof on brands advertising on TikTok and using long-form video which is largely the kiss of death. But in this case, if viewers stay through the full ten minutes then they get a chance to win prizes including ten million Hilton Honors points. All while watching a Hilton ad on TikTok talking about Hilton ads on TikTok. All while promoting Hilton Honors points across the entire Hilton portfolio. It’s somewhat classic travel and leisure marketing wrapped up in creators and influencers on TikTok.
And of course the lead-in is none other than Paris Hilton, the ultimate influencer from back in the day. Here’s a postable two minute version of the video from YouTube:
A bit of a comeback for Paris? Maybe. It is her family’s original namesake afterall and she is certainly staying true to her brand, even though her brand is older now. Aren’t we all!
A bit of an irony given the brand, the category, and the platform? Exactly the point. Which is why it breaks through.
The best part? This line … “Hilton for the Stay, Paris for the Slay.” Totally on brand, for both.
Fun, relevant, on the right platform for travel enthusiasts, creators, and influencers, coming from one of the OGs (both Hilton and Paris). It all lines up!
