Diane Keaton ... Next Up for the Brand
The brand keeps proliferating …
This week the iconic Diane Keaton launched a coffee-table fashion book in partnership with Ralph Lauren called “Fashion First.” I say that Diane is “iconic” rather than just an “actress” because yes of course she’s an actress by trade but she’s been so much more impactful and influential than just her acting career through the years.
Many don’t know that she started her career on Broadway in the musical “Hair” and starred in the film series “The Godfather” well before her legendary role in her Academy-winning turn in the film “Annie Hall” where to my eye she became a fashion icon as well as a Hollywood fixture.
And the beginning of her iconic influence.
Her career and impact has now spanned decades, genres, and industries. Including partnerships and product lines in fashion in multiple areas, home accessories with Hudson|Grace, and more recently eyewear with Cosmo Mini. I’d say she’s been a pretty consistent, pretty prolific brand through the years! Unique too! Consistent, Prolific, Unique … signs of a great brand!
