Queen Elizabeth Barbie
If you know me, then you know I’m a big fan of brand Barbie. It’s a great example of how a brand both shapes and reflects pop culture, over decades. So to celebrate the decades-long reign (70 years) of Queen Elizabeth and her decades-long birthday (96 years), Barbie came out with its first Queen Elizabeth doll.
It’s a high-end doll (but of course) for collectors at a price point in the US of $75.
I have to believe that this little acknowledgement had to make the Queen smile. He made me smile as a marketer.
