Best Songs from the Olympic Games #MusicMonday
We have Celine Dion to thank for a magical musical moment at this year’s Olympic games. But it’s certainly not the first time that there’s been a musical backdrop to the Games or an official theme song or a soundtrack, that’s for sure. And it’s not Celine’s first time either.
Yes, for the 1996 Games in Atlanta our Celine sang the theme song … a real beauty …
Another one of favs is from Christopher Cross from 1984 (yes, way back then) …
But then there is the all time of all time, from Whitney Houston for the Summer Olympics in 1988 in South Korea … “One Moment in Time.” She was at the height of her soaring career, and this put her up a notch if that was even possible.
I can remember playing it on repeat over and over and over again.
Such inspiration, over and over again.
